About us

The KAYA pursues and provides an appropriate environment for youngsters to explore and develop their potential --reaching it to a maximum level-- and to train the whole child concept under specially designed after-school programs. Represent and advocate the interests and voices of the Korean American Youth and other associated youth communities residing in the areas of Northern Los Angeles and to provide and promote various services and community activities. Promoting friendly relations and collaborations between different groups within the Korean communities as well as between Korean communities and other communities in the area, through various joint community activities such as cultural festivals, food fairs, sports events, and sports projects.

Through the hands-on and community volunteer experiences, the participants will to master their programs in order to develop necessary leadership skills that will contribute to the community and country. Additionally, participants will be offered an opportunity to increase self-esteem and confidence that will lead to his/her happiness and successful life.

KAYA ( Korean-American Youth Association ) 는 Korean-American 으로서의 청소년들이 그들이 Korean-American으로서 높은 자긍심을 가질수 있도록 Youth Activity 에 촟점을 맟출것입니다.청소년들을 대상으로 청소년들이 가지고 있는 무한한 능력을 발휘할 수 있도록 청소년의 건전한 육성을 위해 힘쓰고 다양한 청소년자원봉사 및 청소년 활동을 통한 Global Leader와 청소년 인재양성을 위해 노력할것입니다. 한국 의 우수한 문화를 알리며 Korean-American으로서의 정체성을 잘 확립할수 있도록 최선을 다하며, 타 커뮤니티와 협력하고 주류사회에 여러분의 활기찬 움직임과 함께 앞서 나가는 행복한 미래를 위해,청소년들의 희망을 이끌기 위해 열정과 전문성을 담아 청소년들에게 Korean-American 으로서의 자긍심, 타인에 대한 존중감과 삶에 대한 참 가치를 발견 할 수 잇도록 도울 것 입니다.봉사활동에 참여하는 모든 학생들은 community hour service 를 받을것이며, 학생들이 봉사단체와 Student Council 을 구성하여 많은학생들에게 청소년 단체 임원으로서 많은 것을 배우고 실행하며 Leadership 을 배울수 있게 Program 을 만들고 잇읍니다. 여러 기관에 Internship 을 추천해 주며,, 또한 좋은 추천서를 받을수 있도록 도우며, President Award 를 비롯하여, congressman상들과 장학금 등을 받을수 있도록 모든 분들이 최선을 다할것입니다.
